Introduction to CrossFit

At CrossFit Villa Albani we run small group (up to 15 people) workouts where you will be always be under the guidance of an experienced coach. These workouts are comprised of constantly varied, functional movements (like pushing, pulling, squatting, lifting and running) performed at a high intensity relative to your own capabilities.

This means your body NEVER plateaus and you never get bored doing the same work out twice.

Each day there is a completely different workout that everyone participates in together called the WOD (workout of the day). The workouts are completly scalable, meaning that a new participant and a CrossFit veteran can complete the same workout, varying only by changes in load and intensity.

Our program is not focused towards developing one specific type of fitness, rather we aim to improve your capacity in ten recognized fitness domains: cardio-respiratory endurance, strength, flexibility, speed, stamina, power, agility, co-ordination, balance and accuracy.
